The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2002. To get admission in this course students have to qualify the entrance examination and sixty meritorious students are selected in this programme. The intake capacity of students for enrolment to BCA course at present is 60 seats annually. Student is provided an entry into the professional course which was affiliated with university of Kashmir till 2017 and with Cluster University Srinagar from march 2017 onwards.
